ShamRockk Foundation Advisory Board – Ways to Be Involved

The ShamRockk Foundation Advisory Board is made up of individuals who support our mission of helping young male dancers transition from ballet school to the professional world. We appreciate and value your involvement at any level (or combination of levels) that feels right for you.

Below are some of the different ways you can participate—nothing is a requirement, and we welcome any form of support you’re comfortable offering.

1. Name & Legacy Recognition (Support Through Presence & Influence)

  • Website Acknowledgment: Allow the foundation to proudly feature your name, photo, and bio on our website and materials, serving as a symbol of inspiration and credibility, helping elevate our cause within the ballet world.
  • Personal Statement: Optionally, share a brief statement about why you believe in the foundation's mission to further inspire others.

2. Input & Guidance (Occasional Involvement – Advisory Role)

  • Advisory Input: Offer advice or insights on the ballet world and how the foundation can best serve young male dancers as your schedule allows.
  • Program Recommendations: Provide suggestions for scholarship applicants, program structure, or fundraising opportunities as your schedule allows.
  • Consultation: Be available for occasional calls or emails to offer thoughts on foundation initiatives as your schedule allows.

3. Ballet Industry & Scholarship Support (Active Involvement – Direct Impact)

  • Talent Identification: Help identify and recommend young male dancers who would benefit from scholarships.
  • Scholarship Selection: Participate in the scholarship selection process by offering input on applicants.
  • Event Attendance: Attend ballet performances, competitions, or school events where scholarships may be awarded.
  • Scholarship Presentation: Present scholarships in person at events when available, helping to celebrate and encourage recipients.

4. Fundraising & Awareness (Engaged Involvement – Supporting Growth)

  • Network Sharing: Share the foundation’s mission with your network to help spread awareness.
  • Donor Introductions: Introduce the foundation to potential donors, sponsors, or funding opportunities in the ballet or arts community.
  • Event Participation: Participate in fundraising events as an honored guest, speaker, or behind-the-scenes supporter.
  • Partnership Connections: Help connect the foundation with ballet schools, companies, or industry leaders who may want to partner with them.

5. Event Participation & Community Engagement (High-Level Involvement – Visible Impact)

  • Event Attendance: Attend or participate in ShamRockk Foundation events, including fundraisers, galas, or scholarship presentations.
  • Guest Speaking: Serve as a guest speaker or panelist on webinars and/or (in-person or via Zoom) at events and/or webinars, sharing your experience and insight with young dancers.
  • Mentorship Opportunities: Provide opportunities for scholarship recipients to connect with professionals in the ballet world through mentorship or introductions.

Your support—at any level—is deeply appreciated and will have a lasting impact on young dancers who, like Remi, are committed to their craft and working toward their dreams.

Whether you choose to simply lend your name or actively participate, you are helping us honor Remi’s legacy and create opportunities for the next generation of male ballet dancers.

Thank you for being a part of this journey with us.
